City Widget brings the world’s most beautiful cities to your Home Screen. Every day a new city is picked, and hand-picked photos of “Today’s City” appear in your widgets.

In the app you can browse more than 80 cities, watch each city’s photos in story format and keep track of the places you have been and the ones you want to visit.

Every day a different city is selected at random and becomes “Today’s City”. Its photos fill your widgets for the day.

Tap Enjoy the Photos! on the app’s home screen to watch all of today’s photos in story format, or browse the city list to explore any other city.

The photos come from talented photographers who share their work on Unsplash and Pexels. Our team hand-picks them for each city, so every widget shows a view worth seeing.

The Wish List is for cities you want to visit and Been There is for cities you have already visited. Add Today’s City with one tap, or add any city while browsing.

On the free plan each list holds up to 3 cities. With City Widget PRO both lists are unlimited.

1. Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
2. Tap Edit in the top corner, then Add Widget (on older iOS versions, tap the + button).
3. Search for City Widget, choose a widget size and tap Add Widget.
4. Tap Done.

3. Find City Widget, then touch and hold the widget and drag it to your Home Screen.

The steps can differ slightly between phone makers.

On the free plan your widget shows a new photo every 24 hours. With City Widget PRO you can choose a shorter interval, as often as every hour.

The phone decides the exact moment a widget refreshes, so a photo may change a little later than the interval you chose.

Yes, with City Widget PRO. Open a photo and download it; City Widget saves it to your photo library (allow access to your photos when asked). Then open the photo in your Photos or Gallery app and set it as your wallpaper.

City Widget PRO gives you:

• Widget photos that refresh as often as every hour
• Unlimited Wish List and Been There lists
• Photo downloads to use as wallpapers

New subscribers can start with a free trial. The app shows the trial length and the price for your country before you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not inside the app.

• iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose City Widget and tap Cancel Subscription.
• Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, choose City Widget and tap Cancel subscription.

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. PRO stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If you reinstalled City Widget or moved to a new phone, tap Restore Purchases in the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to subscribe.
